Michael Koehl entered the mortgage business in 1985 and owned a mortgage company for 20 years. After selling his company, Michael worked with Homebridge and Cardinal before joining NJ Lenders Corp. in 2023. He is licensed in seven states: NJ, PA, DE, MD, SC, GA, and FL. 

As a certified mortgage adviser, Michael says, “I am most proud of the many customers that we were able to put in homes, and refinance to satisfy their financial needs.” 

Specializing in renovation loans, Michael is happy to assist borrowers in navigating the FHA 203K and Fannie Mae Homestyle programs to help bring their dream home to life. 

With nearly 40 years in the industry, Michael offers experience with a variety of home loan programs, including VA loans and products for our policemen, firemen, and teachers. Bond loans and 12-month bank statement loans often used for business owners round out his extensive portfolio. 

Outside of work, Michael is on the Board of Directors for a ministry that helps at-risk children in South Africa by running a boarding school and youth camp. 

Michael is a proud husband, father of three, and grandfather of five. His oldest son is a Lieutenant Colonel fighter pilot in the Marine Corps; his middle son, a black belt ju-jitsu instructor, is a martial arts instructor for the Marine Corps and works at an MMA gym in South Carolina; and his youngest son owns a personal trainer business in Florida.
